We work hard to stimulate and encourage local interest in volunteering and community activity. This includes promoting and marketing volunteering through local, regional and national events and campaigns. For example, we organise high profile events during Volunteers' Week (1st - 7th June) and for Make A Difference Day in October. As a Volunteer Centre, we also manage and promote a national brand for volunteering. We also promote individual opportunities as well as volunteering within particular themes and areas. |
