Developing Volunteering Opportunities

We work in close partnership with statutory, voluntary and private sector agencies as well as community groups and faith groups to help them to develop local volunteering opportunities. We understand the potential offered by the local communities and work with them to realise this potential.

We also support specific groups and organisations which face barriers to volunteering.

We try to work creatively to help organisations develop imaginative, non-formal opportunities for potential volunteers.

Important parts of our work at the moment include development of opportunities for Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) and Micro-Volunteering (One-off or short-term opportunities)
