Why should you make a donation?

Donations made to South Derbyshire CVS contribute to all of our services. From supporting our food hub, to providing vital help to vulnerable and isolated people. If you want to donate to a charity making a real difference locally, please consider us.

You can make a one off donation for any amount, or you can provide ongoing support via a monthly donation. You can donate via Just Giving, PayPal or via Bank Transfer by calling us. These options are listed below.​

Gift Aid 

If you are a UK tax payer, please add gift aid to your donation. This means that for every £1 you donate, we can reclaim an extra 25p from the Government. Paypal Giving and Just Giving can do this automatically with a box tick. For other donation methods, we can provide you with a gift aid form.

Our Preferred Donation Platform 

Paypal is our preferred donation platform, as we receive 100% of the funds you donate. This part charges apply to other methods listed below.

A Note on Just Giving 

After entering your donation amount, on the next page you may be prompted to give additionally to JustGiving. This money goes towards funding the platform and does not come to us. You must select the ‘custom amount - £0 option’ after entering your initial donation to avoid this.​
